While singing in church this morning I heard a young voice singing as loudly as he could, and it brought joy in my heart. That's the thing about kids: It didn't matter if he didn't get every note just right. It didn't matter that other people might be listening. He didn't seem worried if it was cool or if he was in the right stance. He was just a child singing to God, praising our Lord and savior. No barriers, no concerns, just singing straight from his heart.
